  • You can follow this format when you are writing your background of the study:

─Begin by giving a general overview of your research topic and introduce the main ideas you will be making use of throughout the study.

─Then, give detailed and precise information about all the methodologies used in the research.

Stage 1. Conduct preliminary literature survey

─check the Internet and other electronic databases

Stage 2. Focus on the research statement

─take notes and also keep an accurate track of the sources.

Stage 3. Develop and open down research question or problem/research statement.

Stage 4. Complete your research using the question and research statement as your guide.

Stage 5. Create relevant sections.

─and the controversies

Stage 6. Further research and propositions

─Identify the further studies.

─mention possible solutions to the issue that have not been put into consideration in the past.
